Recently my children were playing in a backyard pool and Kade my 3-year old son was accidentally pushed in with all the frivolity. He turned around in the water and made his way to the side of the pool and then monkey monkeyed his way along the edge of the pool until he reached the steps. He did not panic at all and suffered no reservations about re-entering the water. He did exactly what he has been taught to do by Judy.
It was such a joy and relief for me to know that he knew how to get himself out of what could have been a very frightening and potentially dangerous situation. Kade has been attending lessons with Judy at the Billabong Swim School for just under 12 months when this happened.
